I went to Laurence for physical therapy for several years. First for my ankle, and then for my knee. Both times he was absolutely amazing! He knew exactly what he was doing and didn't push me any farther than I needed to be. He makes sure you do your rehab the correct way, so that you won’t get hurt again. There was never a day he wasn't happy and cheerful; he was also extremely encouraging and would even do the work outs with me! I would never go to any other physical therapist! He is exactly what a therapist needs to be!!
Being a competitive soccer player with a goal to play at a D1 college I needed to get better and get better fast. Laurence had me doing soccer related drills and customized my therapy with what was best for me and my goals. He has knowledge of all sports and is able to create sports specific work outs. He was able to push me to my limits and ultimately make me stronger. He taught me how to play safe and smart so that I could lessen my chance of injury. I could call or text him 24/7 with any problems or questions I had, and he would get back to me right away. Laurence is one of the main reasons I am where I am today and I can’t thank him enough for always putting maximum effort into helping me.

Laurence was my Physical Therapist (PT) immediately following ACL reconstruction on my right knee. He was the right mix of delicate and hard on me as I was healing and strengthening. During strengthening, my left knee (which had been hurting for months) got distressed from over compensating for my ACL knee. I voiced my concerns and Laurence took a look. He told me to see the doctor, but also told me what he thought the issue was. Laurence knows what he is talking about… a few months later I had surgery on my left knee on exactly what he had said the problems was. I highly recommend Laurence as anyone’s PT! He takes time with his patients and really cares. For seven months of healing and strengthening Laurence was my PT. If I ever have another issue where physical therapy is needed, I would seek out Laurence to be my Physical Therapist!

In June of 2012 I tore my ACL playing for my club soccer team. It was a major set-back in my life and I couldn’t have gotten through it any better than with the support of my family and my physical therapist, Laurence. He helped me through the thick and thin of physical training. It started easy and as it progressed it was more challenging but Laurence kept encouraging me. Eventually, I got stronger throughout my year off. When I returned I was uneasy, I mean who wouldn’t be if you were off from a sport for a year. After I started playing this energy inside me that had been trapped finally came out and I gained this confidence in myself. This was the same confidence that Laurence helped me find through physical therapy.

Anyone who is lucky enough to have Laurence Truett as their physical therapist can know that they are literally in good hands. I was a patient of Laurence from February 5 until October, 2014. And I have to say I was one of his most challenging cases. I came to him for rehab on a total knee replacement. However after a few weeks of therapy, Laurence noticed that things were not progressing as they should and even though I was not scheduled to go back to see my doctor he suggested that I get in as soon as I could. A manipulation was soon scheduled and therapy continued. Once again my knee was not cooperating and Laurence and I were doing every exercise possible to make my knee bend to no avail. Back to the doctor and a scope was performed. More therapy and then my knee locked up with swelling and just would not move past 15 degrees even though we had it bending. Laurence insisted I pursue further questioning of the doctor because something was not right. My doctor finally sent me to another doctor and after further test we found that I was allergic to the metal in the knee and had to have another surgery to remove the whole knee and do a revision on December 29, 2014. I now have full range of motion in the new knee.
I must say Laurence is the most compassionate person I have ever met when it comes to a care giver. I saw it with every person he treated. He knows when to push and when to back off but how to get the most out of everyone. His knowledge is vast and I still look to him for his expertise and wisdom.

I came to see Laurence after having ACL surgery. I was very nervous about going to physical therapy but he was very welcoming. He takes a one on one approach and really cares about your recovery. I couldn't ask for a better therapist! My surgeon is continually impressed with my recovery as well. I will recommend Laurence to everyone I know.
